Don’t Let Our Work or Leisure Occupy Too Much of Our Time & Thought to Dim Our Witness
This is the Christians Personal Responsibility
Responsibility Especially in the house-Family
Light Begins at Home
The Exhortation
your light so shine before men-In Front of or in the Face of All Men
that they may see your good works-The World Cares Little for Our Words, But Has a Sharp Eye for Our Works

} Instead of Continuing to Explain the Course of the Church Age, Jesus Turns to Explain the Worth of the Kingdom of God
} This Parable is Generally Interpreted By Two Viewpoints:
} The Human Viewpoint
} The Sinner Finds Christ (The Treasure) in the Field (Scriptures) and Gives Up All That He Possesses to Gain Him and Be Saved
} This Interpretation Presents Several Problems:
} Jesus Christ is Not a Hidden Treasure
} No Sinner Could Ever purchase Salvation!
} If the Sinner Could, Would He Hide Christ Again?
} This Method Shows Entrance to the Kingdom is By Our Own Efforts
} The Human Viewpoint, Most Common, Could Not Be the Interpretation

} While True, This Would Make Israel the Only Object of the Purchase

} A Hidden Kingdom With a Returning King

•        Still at the Sea of Galilee; Spoken After the Mustard Seed Parable
•        This Parable Was the Last Before Sending the Multitude Away
•        This Parable Predicts the Internal Doctrinal Corruption of the Church
•        Many Interpret This as the Spread of the Gospel and That the Leaven in This Parable is Good
•        till the whole was leavened-The Whole Becomes Good?-Then There is No Mixture; Contrary to the Other Parables!
•        a woman took, and hid-Do We Hide the Gospel or Proclaim it?
•        The Three Elements
•        The Leaven
•        How Was Leaven Used At This Time to Make Bread?
•        A Piece of Fermented Dough Was Kept Over From a Former Baking
•        The Lump was Either:
•        Dissolved in Water in the Kneading Trough Before the Flour was Added, or
•        Hid or Inserted in the Flour and Kneaded Along With It
•        Leaven, Throughout Scripture, is Used to Signify That Which is Bad, Corrupt or Unsound
•        Some Scripture on Leaven:

•        Many See the Catholic Church as the Woman, Since it Represents a City (Rome), a Kingdom (the Vatican) and a Church
•        If the Leaven is the Gospel, Then the Woman is Against Scriptural Teaching
•        The Lord Did Not Commit the Gospel into the Hands of Women
•        Hiding the Leaven (if it is the Gospel) is Against the Plan of God
•        Hiding is the Reverse of Preaching the Word (2 Tim 4:2)

bind them in bundles to burn them-Similar Sinners Are Grouped Together
cast them into a furnace of fire-Eternal Judgment in The Lake of Fire
wailing and gnashing of teeth-Anguish & Despair in the End Judgment
The Wheat Harvest
This is Easy…The Rapture…or is it?
Gather ye together first (prṓton) the tares- Means in Place, Order, or Time
Are There Any Tares Gathered in This Manner at the Rapture?-No
Then (tote)- At That Time…the Time of the Tare Gathering
gather the wheat into my barn-New Heaven; The Final Gathering
